Our Toddler

There is fruit loops on the kitchen floor, there is balls everywhere I mean everywhere the tub, the bathroom sink (no idea how they got there), the trash, the laundry room, in Dixies food- the lower half of the Christmas tree is empty and the ornaments are who knows where also said tree has been pushed over a few times, our couch arm rest is now a trampoline and because of it its sticky 89% of the time but we have never laughed or loved more in our lives.

Celeste our “baby child” is now a toddler she is a aint-scare-of-anything toddler, she has jumped off her highchair, our bed (that thanks to T building skills is high), a shopping cart, almost down the stairs this child is non-stop unless she wants to be held and that’s usually to get into something she is so fun SO FUN I can tell about the time we were taking a nap and I was woken up by one of her kisses or the time I was looking intensely at the computer and she came over and did raspberries in my arms or when she hugs Dixie randomly but there is nothing I can tell you that would describe the way I feel when I watch her be her own little person.

She is an awesome that little one and I cannot imagine not being her mom.

8/30- 5 Passions and some other stuff

8/30-5 Passions

1. The Gospel. I gave the prayer in church this past Sunday in Spanish of course and I bawled through the whole prayer...I seriously don't see this ever getting better :(

2. Family.

3. Pictures/anything that has to do with capturing a moment.

4. Sewing.

5. Music and dancing.

The other stuff-

The Juice Detox was great for about 4 days then my baby sister came over to visit and it was over as quickly as it started. I did feel was less bloated, we will probably give it another try this week.

Planning Celestes 1st birthday pictures my plan is to not stress her out, shes kinda like T too many pictures and she starts pouting.

My baby sister was here for a week and it was awesome! she hung out and made us a cake :)

I got my ring back (finally) and its so fresh and so clean clean :)

Saturday we went to Tommys family reunion and for some odd reason I picture balloons and tons of games, well there no balloons or games but there was a ton of food which might be better haha.

Have I ever mentioned T is the only boy in a sea of girls but dont feel sorry for me because they are basically the bees knees :)
Also it makes me the only daughter in law and by default the best/favorite daugther in law which is a plus haha.

Sunday I was feeling like poop but I finally started a project that could start something big but first I had to make everyone go to sleep and by everyone I mean Celeste and Dixie and these days is a serious challenge those two are like two super energetic toddlers they get into everything.
Anyways they took a short nap and thankfully it was long enough for me to finish the top "mockup" part, I'm making E.

Hopefully this week I can get into a work out routine or something that doesnt make me feel like a blob walking around.

Happy Monday!

7/30: What is your dream job, and why?

Remember these?

What is your dream job, and why?

Well my dream would be to sew and have people want to wear what I make.
And if theres money involved even better :)
Sometimes I get asked where does my love for sewing come from and I seriously can not answer that question I didn't grew up with it, my Mom is more of a ready-to-wear kind of person so when I asked for a sewing machine for my 16th birthday she was like "Really Jessica?" she got it for me regardless and I had it for a good 6 years before it died (thanks to Dixie). I remember the first thing I ever made was a skirt for my friend Lauren, I made on a Saturday night (we were super cool like that)  and I had no idea what I was doing I think I made her wrap herself with fabric and then sewed it and it looked pretty great until she put it on in the morning to go to church and couldn't walk because it had no slip but since shes an awesome friend she hop her way to the car and she hopped from class to class until Church was over, it makes me laugh every time I remember her telling people "Jessica made it".

I would also like to have Celeste running around while I do all this, is that too much to ask?

6/30: What is the hardest thing you have ever experienced?

6/30:The hardest thing I ever been through?

Well there are two things that have been very hard and that have impacted my life more than I could imagine. Today I will talk about the one that I have been through and overcome, the other one me and my family are still going through it, and I pray that this coming year will go by and things will be OK again.

Today I will talk about moving to the US at the age of 11. This is the short-short version, before I start I want to say how grateful I am for the Gospel in my life, looking back it was always truly our home away from home.

When people say moving usually they mean different school, new friends, new ward, maybe a different city.
But when my parents told us (me and my siblings) that we were moving they meant we were going to another country, a different culture, pssh a different continent! when this happened I was 11 years old, my baby sister was 5ish and my older brother was 15 and none of us were fans of moving. We had a great life  but soon because of my country's economy all of this would change and things would be different, so my parents decided to sell all of our horses, leave our family home and take up an offer of a job opportunity in Utah and move.
Fast forward to my mom getting to Miami and not wanting to leave the beach after living in one of Argentina's coldest city so we stayed. Miami was hard at first, being away from my Dad was the hardest, not knowing anyone, coming home from school with a migraine from trying to understand what the teacher/classmates/everyone were saying but slowly we found our happy place.
Fast forward again two years this time to when my parents decided to move to Georgia! yep Commerce, Georgia to be exact, to this day they cant really tell us how that came about to tell you that was hard would be a big fat lie it was the most intense, and definitely the hardest move yet because not only did we go from sunny Miami where we thought was a culture shock but it really wasn't because we were in Miami but we went to the country not panhandle country but Georgia country. A lot of things happened in the two years we were there, a lot... school was the worst I think, being the only Latin girl in school was news to me and it was definitely news to them and they showed it but time passed and in between all that, I made new friends and I learned English while watching King of the Hill and That 70s Show with captions (I still watch TV with captions). I remember one day we were all eating dinner and my baby sister Naomi busted out some English in the middle of dinner, it got dead quiet and we looked at her and my Mom said "Que?!" and we all laughed and laughed until tears came out, to this day we still don't know what she said but it sounded like Boomhauer.
Now I can

We lived there for two years and then we packed up our things and moved to Panama City Beach.
I learned a lot, I grew up a lot in a short period of time and in that process I became the person I am today.

5/30: 5 Things that make you most happy right now

1. ITS THE LAST WEEK OF SESSION!!!!!
That describes itself, granted I have not worked the long hours I did last year thanks to babyface :) but I'm still looking forward to all my rightfully earned comp hours.

2. Babyface seriously she gets more adorable everyday, her personality is really starting to show and she cracks me up constantly I could look at her all day. And I have no doubt she will walk soon, very soon.

3. My bff T, hes just awesome. I love that guy of mine :)

4. My sewing machine, that gift just keeps on giving. Last night I was trying to get ready for today figuring out what to wear and I just wasn't feeling anything I had so I whipped up a skirt and I love it! it has the perfect fullness and springy feel.

5. The fact that May  is right around the corner and this month is filled with goodies like Mothers day and my bff Jessica comes into town which means the band is getting back together me, Lauren and Jessica will be reunited!

4/30: Dear 16 year old self

If you don't know what this post is about go here.

4/30 List 10 things you would tell your 16 year-old self,
if you could.
(I couldnt find any 16yr old pictures but I found these)

1. Be nicer. LOL. No but seriously your sarcasm can be mean and intimidating.

2. Try and wake up for seminary!! Don't be mean to Lauren for waking you up, I know its no fun waking up that early but its worth it.

3. Save money! I know it seems stupid but when it comes to buying a car you will definitely need it!

4. Don't be a Debby Downer about Church dances, you will learn to love them!

5. Try harder in school.
6. Make better choices, you know what I'm talking about! and befriend Jessica Wiser NOW! she's TONS of fun and you will miss her when she moves.

7. Be strong!

8. Theres nothing you could have done or anyone for that matter that would have change the ways things went.

9. Things will eventually be OK, I promise.

10.  Hug Sergio every chance you get, he will be gone for a while and it will be very hard to be without him.

3/30 -My parents All 3 of them

So before I go on you should know my Mom was married to my Dad whos a retired Federale in Argentina but they divorced when I was 3 years old and then about two years later she met my step-dad whom I known since I was five, so to sump up (haha) I have two Dads and one Mom-I'm very loved

I can go on forever about how awesome my parents are all 3 of them and how much they have done and sacrifice for me and my siblings but to not bored you to death with all my Latin-cheesy-ness I'll try to keep it short.

My Mom Nancy- Me and her are so much alike which is great but sometimes(very rarely) our stubbornness gets in the way. We are extra close for many reasons but the top 3 would be moving to the U.S and not knowing anyone, going through the Sergio (my older brother) thing basically the hardest thing I have ever been through to this day and having the opportunity of being with her throughout her last (surprise) pregnancy since she doesn't speak English I went to every appointment and was the person who was in the room with her during her C-Section. She's an awesome lady she's so entertaining I think she should have her own reality TV show on Univision :)

My Step-Dad Esquivel- I can remember Esquivel eating my Moms food when she didn't know how to cook (thats love) and laughing at him putting mayo on everything even soup! He's an awesome awesome guy and we get along super good, hes such an easy going guy and soo patient hes dealt with my teenage years like a champ and I am oh so grateful that he and my mom found each other.

My Dad- Roberto- Oh my dad! Hes a hoot! This guy spoiled my rotten is true, I was very super spoiled. We spend every weekend together when my parents divorced and once I moved here he calls me (stills does) every 2-3 days and will asked me how I'm doing, how Celeste and if I been running. I didn't see my dad for about ten years when I moved here and went back to Argentina recently and it was like I never left it was wonderful to know that our relationship was that strong.

All in all I'm very blessed in the parents department they are all amazing and are such a huge part of my life.

2/30: 3 Fears

Today I'm doing my second post of the 1/30 if you dont know what I'm talking about click here.
2/30 , Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears-

1. SPIDERS. Even writing that gives me the creeps! I have a serious case of Arachnophobia, this my friends is NO JOKE anyone that knows me knows that anything that resembles a spider makes me want to cry. Where did I get this fear? well me and my brother watched Arachnophobia when we were little and it basically scarred me for life.

If you haven't watched it DON'T watch it ok? Just don't do it, because you will be scare and be traumatize forever. Its horrible and I want to cry just thinking about it.

Its so bad I have jumped out of canoes to get away from a spider web, its embarrasing and sadly I don't think theres anything I can do about it :/

2. When Celeste was a newborn I feared she would stop breathing, now I'm sure this is a first-time mom common fear but nonetheless I poked her when she slept "too much" until she made so sort of noise, like I would be sound asleep open my eyes and think "is Celeste breathing?!" or I would ask T half asleep to check and make sure Celeste was breathing. Crazy you say? well maybe but it stopped when she was about 6 weeks old and I have a feeling I will be like that with every future child.

3. Saturday night we were watching TV, babyface was sleeping and then all the sudden Dixie starts barking like crazy, we then heard Austins (Ts bff) voice saying "you guys up!?" and we were :) he was with his newly Fiance Kaitlin after talking a bit we decided to go "muddin" so we got babyface all comfy and left to go ride around -before I go on I will tell you it was not dangerous nor loud or anything like that babyface never knew she went on an advventure she slept through the whole thing even when me and T were singing- anyways so there we were in the middle of the woods when we went into this really narrow road I'm talking narrow ok? I started telling T "Turn around I don't like this" and after clawing Ts arm a bit and freaking out I realize I'm a little bit on the clausthropobic side, nothing major like if you tell my baby sister "Naomi you are running out of air" she will start screaming and pacing around until you tell her different I use to do this to torture her when we were little I now realize how evil it is but hey she used to chase me with fake spiders (the huge ones from Halloween) in Walmart until I would be crying telling her to stop. Oh sibling love :)

Next post Describe your relationship with your parents.

1/30

Have you ever blog hop? I do this more than I should, yesterday I ran into this blog and she had a list 30 things to write about and I decided to do it as well not 30 days in a row but maybe I will do it once a week. Click on the link to check out the list!
1/30                                                              20 random facts about me:

1. I been telling people for "years" that I'm 5' 7' but it turns out I'm actually 5' 6'.

2. I realize yesterday that I don't own a plain white t-shirt! wth?! how did that happen? now I'm on the lookout for the perfect white tee.

3. I only listen to voicemails to get rid of that little annoying icon that shows up.

4. I haven't eaten a carrot since I was ten, my mom used to make me carrot juice every morning before school and it was traumatizing.

5. I bought my first lipstick two months ago and haven't seen it since the day I bought it.

6. FRIENDS is my all time favorite show I can quote the mess out of it.

7. I chose a Droid phone over an Iphone mostly because I can't take all the fanciness that comes with the Iphone.

8. First time I saw Tommy I told him I liked his tattoos, this was at a YSA activity HAHA yeah yeah.

9. I say dude constantly.

10. I rode the Greyhound for 18 hours with Lauren because we wanted to hang out in Miami longer than our ride could, I do not recommend this.

Waiting for the Greyhound
 11. I once went on a second date with a guy because he promise to make me homemade funnel cake, not my proudest moment.

12. Now that I'm a mom I refuse to carry a purse, I don't carry anything purse-like unless I have to and its my diaper bag.

13. I could eat Taco Bell everyday.

14. I almost failed my Spanish class in HS, before you judge you should know that it was my senior year, it was my last period, I speak fluent Spanish so it was boring and the school was a block from the beach so yeah no worries though I graduated.

15. My parents got divorce when I was four.

16. My eyebrows grow at a crazy fast rate, so if I dont take care of them a unibrow will appear before my eyes.

17. I will cry and pass out if I'm asked to speak at church but I can talk all day in front of people when it doesn't have to do with my family or my religion. I'm sensitive like that.

18. My Dad calls me almost every weekend to tell me he loves me, he loves Celeste and to not stop working out. My parents met at the gym so they are both crazy work out maniacs.

19. My eyes are a super dark brown but when asked I say they are black.

20. I need to have earrings on at all times, the shinier the better.

Next on the list Describe 3 legitimate fears you have and explain how they became fears.
